Australia v Papua New Guinea 1982
in Papua New Guinea
At a packed Llyod Robson Oval in Port Moresby every vantage point was taken as the locals enthused over the best rugby league players in the world. The Kumuls put on a spirited display on a rock hard pitch that many compared to a carpark. While the Test was on the rest of the Kangaroo party (led by Wally Lewis) were in Perth playing against Western Australia. The next day the two parties met up together in Singapore for the flight to England. © Sean Fagan / RL1908
