David Middleton's annual season's review and statistics publication has undergone a complete revamp in conjunction with the team at Big League magazine.

Now in a glossy magazine style A4 format, the release date has been moved up to pre-Christmas instead of the opening of the following season. The new look includes hundreds of full-colour photographs. giving the Middleton yearbook a fresh and compelling look.

None of the usual features have been left out of the new style - includes a feature interview with Brad Fittler, a look at Jack Rayner's South Sydney team from 1955 and tributes to players who retired in 2004.

Also included in the massive 200 pages are the top five players of the year, team of the year, diary of events and full club, premiership, State of Origin and Test match records. The Annual begins with the World Sevens, World Club Challenge and concludes with a complete review of the Tri-Nations series. The list of Australian international players now includes each individual's 'register number' based upon when they made their debut.

The 2004 Official Rugby League Annual is a great record of the season. It is available from newsagents across NSW and Queensland.
